Alberto García Suau is a counsel in the tax practice area of Garrigues which serves the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera).

Alberto García Suau is a counsel in the tax practice area of Garrigues since 2020, having joined the firm in 2000.
He has extensive experience in matters relating to the taxation of individuals and legal entities, both residents and non-residents in Spain, and in real estate and international taxation.
He also provides advice on an ongoing basis to national and international groups in the tourism industry and to foreign investors in Spain. He provides tax advice on sales and purchases of all kinds of assets and businesses in the Balearic Islands, and ongoing tax advice to clients.
Academic background
Degree in Law from Universidad de las Islas Baleares and Master’s Degree in Public Finance.
Teaching activity
Alberto has been an associate lecturer at Universidad de las Islas Baleares (Economics department) since 2009, where he teaches the subject of tax system, and since 2018 he has been a lecturer on the MBA program at Escuela de Negocios ESERP in Palma de Mallorca.
Memberships
Alberto has been a member of the Balearic Islands Bar Association since 1999.
He is a member of the appeals committee of the Balearic Islands Cycling Federation.
