Ana Ramirez is a local partner in the Corporate Group of Garrigues' New York office . She specializes in corporate law, commercial contracts, joint-ventures, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, representing international companies with interests in the United States.
Experience
Ana joined Garrigues in January 2007 and was promoted to local partner in 2012. Ana advises multinational companies, financial institutions, and family offices on cross-border transactions with their investments in the United States and Latin America. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, strategic allicances, finance transactions and related transactions.
Prior to joining Garrigues, Ana was an associate in the corporate department of Greenberg Traurig’s New York office and the Latin American department of Baker& McKenzie in its New York and Miami offices.
Ana is fluent in English and Spanish.
