Anamaría is a senior associate at Garrigues, a firm where she has worked since 2019. She specializes in the areas of merger control, antitrust investigations, unfair competition and consumer law. Anamaría deals with the representation of national and international companies in antitrust investigations, mergers control procedures, judicial processes of unfair competition, as well as general advice to clients in competition law and consumer law.

Before joining Garrigues, Anamaría worked at a firm specializing in competition law issues. Likewise, she worked at the Group of Antitrust Investigations at the Competition Auhtority, where she participated in the recommendation of decisions to sanction hard cartels and in the application that was given for the first time of the leniency regime.
