Cristóbal García has been a partner in Garrigues’ Labor and Employment Law Department since 2006 and joined the firm in 2003. He specializes in labor law litigation, collective bargaining, workforce restructuring and senior management. He handles both complex lawsuits and collective matters and also provides recurring labor and employment law advice, with extensive experience in advising multinationals. Cristóbal has a Degree in Law from Universidad de Granada and an Associate’s Degree in Senior Management (AD-1) and in Senior management of leading institutions and companies (ADEL) from Instituto Internacional San Telmo. He regularly contributes articles to the press and reaches at the Law Faculty of Universidad de Málaga and on the Master’s Degree in Digital Law and Business Tech at the Granada Chamber of Commerce. He is included every year in the international directory Best Lawyers as a leading labor law lawyer in Spain. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Experience
Before joining Garrigues, he was the head of the Legal Department of FSP-U.G.T. in Granada (1997-2003).
He specializes in labor union law, business restructuring, collective bargaining, labor litigation, senior management and advising multinationals and the airlines industry.

He has also given many courses and seminars on aspects of labor law for APD, ADECCO, FREMAP, Instituto de Práctica Empresarial, Malaga Bar Association, Wolters Kluwer, Andalusian Health Service, Málaga and Granada Employers’ Confederations, Centro de Estudios Municipales, UGT, etc.
