Diego Perales is Of Counsel in the practice of the Energy area of ​​Garrigues, where he joined in 2022. He was the legal head of the National Energy Commission of Chile, the electric regulatory body of Chile. Before that, he worked in the distribution, transmission and generation subsidiaries of Enel in Chile as a lawyer responsible for renewable energy, trading, and electricity distribution.

He has a wealth of expertise in energy practice, taking of the different segments of the energy market. That means generation, transmission, distribution, and gas.

He has also garnered experience as a litigator in energy matters. He has an extensive practice in courts, both ordinary and specialized courts. That is the case of the Panel of Electric Experts, an instance of Chilean regulation aimed at resolving disputes in the energy sector.
