Eduardo Tirado has been a senior associate in the Commercial and Real Estate practice of Garrigues' Santiago de Chile office since 2021.

He previously worked at the law firms Barros & Errázuriz (2010 -2021); Bella, Alessandri & Carvallo (2008-2010) and Tirado, de Smet d'Olbecke & Cía, Abogados (2006 - 2008).

He was also part of the JSCH program "Jóvenes al Servicio de Chile" of the Jaime Guzmán Foundation, working part-time at the Municipality of Las Condes, in its 1st Local Police Court (2007-2008).

Within his professional activity, he has focused his work on corporate and real estate consulting for companies in different areas (construction, real estate, retail, telecommunications, investments, investment funds, etc.).

As a result of the above, he has been able to participate in processes of acquisition and sale of companies, M&A, financing and restructuring of liabilities.

He is also a regular advisor to management and development and administration teams of companies from different industries.

He has participated, coordinated and directed several Due Diligence processes during his professional career, highlighting among others, (i) the acquisition and subsequent sale of several supermarket chains for a public investment fund; (ii) acquisition of real estate projects of national real estate companies for a foreign investment fund; and (iii) acquisition of a telecommunications and call center company for Grupo Konecta, managing and coordinating the effects of such transactions in Chilean and Spanish jurisdiction.

As regards real estate and corporate advisory services, he has acted as advisor to several real estate companies, construction companies and developers, also actively participating in the urban planning advisory services required by them.

Likewise, he actively participates in financing granted by various public and private investment funds, making viable the execution of various real estate, retail, multifamily and second home projects.

He has extensive experience in partnerships and project financing, real estate M&A, development and operation of commercial and multifamily (residential rental) with various market players.

He is currently Professor of the course of Study of Titles of the Diploma in Real Estate Law of the Company (2012 to date) and Professor of the Commercial Law department (2019 to date), teaching the course of Business Law General and Particular Aspects of Commercial Contracts, all of the above at the School of Law of Universidad de Los Andes.

Likewise, he is also Professor of the course of Study of Titles of the Real Estate and Construction Law Diploma, at the School of Law of Universidad del Desarrollo (2022 to date).
