Elena Berroa Fdez. de Casadevante is a principal associate at Garrigues and has pursued her entire professional career in the Litigation and Arbitration area, first in Madrid where she began to practice in 2007, and then at Garrigues’ San Sebastián office which she joined in 2012.

She has extensive experience in handling complex litigation at different stages of proceedings both in civil law matters (obligations and contracts, real estate law, noncontractual liability) and corporate/commercial law matters (director liability, antitrust, insolvency law in general and purchases of assets from companies in insolvency proceedings).

She also acts in criminal proceedings in company-related matters, particularly involving white-collar crime, corporate offenses and offenses against workers’ rights (occupational accidents).

In addition, she provides recurring advice on matters of general private law and intervenes in processes relating to negotiations and dispute management between companies.
