Experience
Javier Bueno is a principle associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice.
He has more than 15 years’ professional experience in the areas of civil procedure, civil law, commercial law, judicial review law and arbitration.
He provides ongoing advice to different domestic and international companies in lawsuits regarding civil and commercial compensation, and judicial review processes, areas in which he has focused his practice. He has participated in arbitration proceedings of different kinds. He has also assisted individuals in civil property and family-related matters.
Prior to joining Garrigues, he practiced as a consulting lawyer in the Civil Litigation area of law firm Benites Forno & Ugaz Abogados (2003–2017) .
He has taught on the General Theory Course in Procedure at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú – PUCP, (semester 2006-I, 2006-II and 2009-I) .
