Jesús Esparrells is a partner in the Tax Department and has spent his professional career at Garrigues following a stint at Arthur Andersen.

He specializes in tax and accounting law.

He has participated in the major M&A deals performed in Castilla y León or involving companies in the region and provides recurring tax advice both to multinationals established in the area and to groups owned by family businesses and/or private equity firms or publicly owned companies.

Among other areas, he is an expert in business restructuring transaction, tax planning, indirect taxation and family business.

He is also a regular speaker at seminars and conferences organized by the firm and by various specialist centers (Business School of the Castilla y León Chamber of Commerce, Federación de Empresarios, Universidad de Valladolid, etc.).

He is a member of the Valladolid Economists’ Association.
