Juan J. Gramaje has pursued his entire professional career at Garrigues, following a period of nearly two years in the audit department at Arthur Andersen where he began his professional practice.

He has a wealth of experience in providing advice to family businesses in the Valencia autonomous region as well as to multinational groups with operating companies located in that region, having participated in myriad business reorganization transactions: mergers, spin-offs, exchanges and asset contributions.

Throughout his career, he has participated in and managed numerous tax inspection and audit proceedings.

In addition, he has participated in and advised on business investment and divestment transactions, both in the tax analysis and review of the companies acquired and in the structuring of the acquisition and the study of the tax consequences of the divestments.

He has extensive experience in providing tax advice to financial institutions.
