Juan is counsel in the Administrative Law, Urban Planning and Environment practice at Garrigues since 2023.

Practising lawyer in Public law with more than 15 years of experience, specialized on the following areas:

• Disputes and litigations: defence of national and international companies and funds against public authorities in administrative proceedings and before the judicial-review courts and tribunals, with extensive experience in the search for settlement agreements and judicial approvals.
• Regulatory: extensive experience in providing recurring multidisciplinary, comprehensive and personalised advice to its clients to assist them in the planning of their business, the systematic development of their activities and the resolution of problems and difficulties.
• Environment: comprehensive advice on prevention, environmental liability, waste and packaging management, discharges, emissions, acoustic regulations and full water cycle services.
• Energy: advice on the design, planning, financing, construction and commissioning of renewable energy and hydrocarbon projects.
• Urban planning: urban analysis in the purchase and sale of land and real estate assets, as well as in their development, transformation and urban rehabilitation; specialized on the negotiation of conditions for the relocation of industrial activities in areas subject to urban transformation.
• Public procurement and utilities: extensive experience in assisting bidding companies in procurement, amendment and rebalancing proceedings, as well as in advising funds when financing concessionaires.
• Historical Heritage: expert in the sale and export of works of art.
