Julián Lozano is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration and Criminal Law practices.
He has extensive expertise in criminal matters related to crimes against property and against the socioeconomic order, against workers’ rights, environmental crime, zoning offenses, tax and public finance and social security offenses, reputational crimes, and other business-related crimes.
He also provides recurring advice on regulatory compliance and assists clients in the design and implementation of corporate compliance programs.
Julián Lozano collaborates as an external tutor in the practical training program at the University of Murcia and is a lecturer in the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at the San Antonio Catholic University, where he teaches a class on corporate crime.

Julián Lozano is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice, Criminal Law, at Garrigues, which he joined in September 2006.
In his professional activity he has been involved in litigation of great factual and legal complexity, including:
- Litigation related to all types of economic crime (fraud, misappropriation, misappropriation of assets, etc.), as well as those arising from cybercrime.
- Litigation related to corporate disputes, with special significance of those arising from family businesses.
- Litigation arising from accidents at work of all kinds.
- Cases involving offences against the environment, with particular emphasis on the management of waste and emissions of all kinds, and against regional planning.
- Matters related to offences in the field of public administration, including before the courts where the accused is a immunitied person.
- Litigation related to the defence of honour, freedom of expression, information and press, and the right to privacy and self-image.
- Particularly relevant is the participation in the implementation of criminal compliance projects and their subsequent development, as well as the advice and defence of the legal entity before a judicial investigation.
Academic background
Degree in Law from the University of Murcia (1998/2003) and School Legal Practice at the University of Murcia (2003/2005). In addition, he is a qualified mediator (Aranzadi).
Memberships
He is member no. 8 of the Governing Board of the Murcia Bar Association.
