Laura García is a principal associate of the Corporate/Commercial Law Department of Garrigues and joined the firm in 2000. She specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and securities market law. She holds a Law Degree from Universidad de Navarra and a Master’s Degree in Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues. Experience
Laura García has been a principal associate of the Corporate/Commercial Law Department since 2009. She has spent her entire professional career at J&A Garrigues, joining the Barcelona office in 2000 and moving to the Pamplona office in 2006.
She has extensive experience in corporate law and, in particular, in providing board secretary services to all types of companies. She has implemented and regularly works on drawing up corporate governance regulations. She routinely works with listed companies.
Within this area, she provides ongoing advice on pre-litigation situations deriving from disputes between shareholders.
Her work regularly includes the planning and execution of corporate restructuring processes in relation to investments or divestments, and with a view to creating or reorganizing corporate groups.
Laura García specializes in commercial contracts, including the preparation and negotiation of typical or standard contracts, as well as complex M&A deals.
She advises on international transactions for the creation of joint venture and processes for the internationalization of Spanish companies abroad.
