Meritxell Maeso has been a senior associate in Garrigues’ Human Capital Services Department since 2009. She joined the firm in 2008 after having pursued her career since 2003 also in the area of compensation and international mobility advisory services.

She has extensive experience in advising on compensation and benefits, design and implementation of compensation structures and international mobility of executives and employees.

In addition, she provides ongoing advice to human resources, legal and finance departments on the tax and legal aspects of compensation and in tax inspection processes.

Master’s Degree in Business Law Advice, Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF).

Meritxell Maeso has conducted training and refresher courses for the personnel of clients’ human resources departments and has taken part in numerous seminars at the Spanish Association of Tax Advisers and the Economists’ Association (headquartered in Barcelona and Tarragona).
