Miguel García Ruz began his professional career in 1995 at Arthur Andersen, after several years of preparing for the competitive examinations to obtain the title of Notary and Land Registrar.

He has participated in numerous M&A transactions and real estate acquisitions or acquisitions of companies with real estate substrates, with special reference to transactions promoted by foreign investors in Spain. He has also advised on numerous group restructuring operations, particularly family groups, including succession planning and advising on corporate conflicts within capital companies. He has participated in the coordination of various operations for the establishment of Spanish clients in the Persian Gulf, North Africa and Southern Cone countries.

The Garrigues partner has also been a recurring speaker at seminars and conferences organised by the firm and other organisations and bodies (University of Granada, Salón Inmobiliario del Mediterráneo, Instituto de Práctica Empresarial and others).
