Mónica Sevilla has been a partner at Garrigues since 2017, and is the head of the Human Capital Services area in Cataluña.

From this area, she provides comprehensive services in relation to compensation and organization of human resources, including the strategic implications and design, and all tax and legal aspects related to this type of services.

She has extensive experience in designing and implementing compensation systems and remuneration formulas for executives and employees, including incentives based on company value, long-term incentives and employee welfare systems, as well as in international assignment management.

She provides ongoing advisory services in relation to compensation and benefits at listed companies, private equity entities, multinational groups and family businesses. She participates on an ongoing basis in the design and implementation of remuneration packages for employees and executives in M&A transactions. Mónica provides advice to individuals and companies in inspection proceedings and litigation in relation to personal income tax and withholdings on salary income.

Mónica has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Barcelona where she participated in its EUS program.

She is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences organized by Garrigues and a variety of other organizations.

Mónica is a member of the Barcelona Economists’ Association.

She is a member of the tax law committee of the Spanish Executives’ Association.
