Pablo Fuentes Morales is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice, where he practises for clients both national and international before civil, commercial and arbitration courts. He handles complex disputes related to civil and commercial agreements, corporate law, restructuring and insolvency, insurance litigation, contractual and extracontractual liability, and inheritance law, among others. Pablo holds a Law Degree from Universidad de Valladolid, has developed his entire career in leader lawfirms and speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
Experience
Pablo Fuentes Morales is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration practice, as well as in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice since 2018. He joined Garrigues in 2009 after several years practising in another national leader lawfirm in Bilbao and he has gained an extensive experience advising some of the main companies in Castilla y León in the following fields:
- Disputes in construction, engineering, M&A, distribution, franchising and agency.
- Disputes in corporate.
- Bankruptcies.
- Disputes in damages.
- Disputes in competition law.
He also provides recurring advice to companies in distress, with a special focus on directors’ liability, corporate disputes and restructurings through pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings.
Finally, he specializes also in international litigation due to his English and Italian fluency.
Academic background
- Degree in Law, Universidad de Valladolid, with a one year stay at the Facoltà di Giurisprudenza della Università di Bologna (Italy).
- Degree in Business Administration, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
Teaching activity
He has been a lecturer in the Master’s in Business Law at the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce between 2011 and 2016, focusing on civil law subjects.
