Renata Mendaña Navarro has been a partner in the Corporte/Commercial Law Department of J&A Garrigues, S.L.P. since September 2002, where she has developed her entire professional career.
She has more than thirty years of experience in the practice of business law at Garrigues. She practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and specializes in major mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and leveraged buyouts, with particular experience in insurance companies and the retail and hotel real estate sectors.
She has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1991.
She has been a lecturer in the Master's Degree in Business Law at Centro de Estudios Garrigues in the 1996-97 and 1997-98 academic years and in the Corporate Governance course in the Executive MBA at ESADE during the 2007-2008 academic year. She has also taught on the course organized by Centro de Estudios Garrigues in collaboration with The Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School, in the International Business Law Program (Drafting International Contracts) on several occasions since July 2012.

Renata Mendaña has over 30 years' experience in the practice of business law at Garrigues. She practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and specializes in major mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and leveraged buyouts, with particular experience in insurance companies and the retail and hotel real estate sectors.
She is currently secretary (non Director) to of the Board of Directors of Prosegur Cash, S.A. and other Spanish entities and subsidiaries of several multinationals.
Academic background
She holds a degree in Law (1991) and in Economics and Business Administration (1992) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-3).
Teaching activity
Professor in the Masters in International Business Law, Centro de Estudios Garrigues attached to the European University in the subjects of "Principles of International Contracts" and "Clauses and institutions in international contracts".

She has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1991.
